Tarihi Mardin şahkulubey kümbetindeki yapısal bozulmalar ve restorasyon önerisi

Özet

Mardin, which is one of the rare cities where the diversity and unity of language, religion and culture isbased on tolerance throughout history, supports this situation with its historical monuments. This ancientcity, which was inhabited by different administrations, experienced its peak in terms of economy andstability in the 12th century during the Artuqid period. Many of the works that have reached today arethe reflections of that period. Şahkulubey Cupola is one of the rare works that have survived to thepresent day. In this study; The analysis of the existing materials that can shed light on the restorationworks related to Şahkulubey Cupola was carried out. Samples were taken from the pieces that fell toground from the east, west, north and south facade walls, and the material properties were determinedon these samples by SEM-EDS analysis. In addition, the density, unit weight, porosity-compactness, water absorption and compressive strength properties of the samples were measured. The physicalmechanical and SEM-EDS analyzes of the materials used in the construction of Şahkulubey Cupolahave revealed their properties. In addition, it will be possible to apply materials compatible with theexisting structure that can be used in the restoration works of Şahkulubey Cupola.
